Are you wondering about your blog or website mobile and desktop friendliness? Are you wondering how fast it loads? Are you wondering on how to fix the jarva script and CSS error on your site? Google has just developed a very useful tool that will help you test and check any website speed and mobile Friendliness.
The tool studies the website’s CSS, HTML, Scripts and other vital details in the site to determine how it loads on both desktop and mobile devices and according to Google...
“On average, people check their phones more than 150 times a day, and more searches occur on mobile phones than computers. But if a potential customer is on a phone, and a site isn’t easy to use, they’re five times more likely to leave”
Yes this is not the first or only website speed testing tool out there but expect google tools to outrank others. I was able to check some high profile blog sites like Techcabal.com, Techcrunch.com, Lindaikejisblog.com with this tool and surprisingly, most of them didn't perform very well in the mobile and desktop loading speed.
So i decided to test Tomloaded.Com and wao! It performed well in mobile Friendliness, fair in desktop speed and not very good in mobile speed but overall, it had a better score and loads faster than some site like lindaikejisblog. Below is the screenshot, it is based on over 100.
The Screenshots shows that people visiting the site with mobile devices are satisfied with the design and outlook. Same applies to desktop visitors but google suggested i should fix some stuffs to make it even more faster for desktop users.
Another interesting thing about this tool is that, it will show and suggest tips of what to do to improve your site loading speed or mobile Friendliness.
Below is a test i run for lindaikejisblog and this is the result
