Hopefully
our expectation won’t be crippled the way it was crippled by ntel. In some couples of
weeks from now, if the Telecom giant MTN keep to their promise, 4G LTE
(Fourth Generation Long Term Evolution) will be launch but for now I can’t pin
point which states and cities will be the first to experience it.
I
leant from a reliable source that MTN 4G LTE has already been
deployed to Ghana which means you should expect MTN NG 4G deployment as
promised. Some Visafone staffs have already been re-trained to have the
requisite skills for roll out of the new 4G LTE (Fourth Generation Long Term
Evolution) technology in the country.
One
more thing, a lot of you might be getting new smartphones this season, some of
you have gotten and some of you will still get. It is important to make sure
you get a 4G LTE enable smartphones with good battery life that runs on band
800/1800/2100/2600MHz frequency or else
MTN 4G network will just be a story you’ll always live to hear and read
without testing it.
A
blog reader Nelson Cruz pointed out sometimes ago that some smartphones won’t
support MTN 800MHz frequency because
their bands are completely different. Before you buy your next 4G smartphone,
make sure you check the band in order to avoid story that touch.
Now
tell us how prepared are you to welcome the Fourth Generation Long Term
Evolution in your country? Tell us the kind of smartphone you are using lets
help you check if it will supports MTN 4G LTE or not.
